More about Andrés Villalta

With credits on Bridge Records, Delos International, Harmonia Mundi, Hyperion Records,

and Marquis Classics, I have contributed a considerable amount to

the Classical Music recorded catalog. As a freelance engineer, I have

recorded, edited and mixed a broad array of musical styles, from solo

instruments to full operas. I have traveled throughout the U.S., U.K. and

Russia, as chief engineer for projects ranging from opera to contemporary music for

traditional Chinese instruments.

Fluent in Spanish, I have worked at Xavier University in Bogotá,

Colombia as a visiting  lecturer in the Department of Music. I have

mastered many recordings for Warner Brothers Records, and have

also worked on audio for picture (foley, ADR, sound design) with

companies such as The Writing Team LLC.
