Brian is a master of many musical genres: Classical, Rock, Latin, R&B, Cabaret and is renowned for his work in Jazz and Klezmer.
Brian has performed with the following legendary Jazz artists: Paquito d'Rivera, John and Bucky Pizzarelli, Lionel Hampton, Sahib Shahab, Kenny Burrell, Benny Golson, James Moody, Gary Burton, Randy Brecker, John Tropea, Ken Peplowski, Gene Bertoncini,Billy Cobham, Larry Coryell and many more.
In addition, Brian has toured and recorded with well known performers of the Popular American Song Book including: Liza Minnelli, Margaret Whiting, Michael Feinstein, Karen Akers and, and Anne Hampton Callaway, and Stephen Schwartz. Klezmer / Yiddish and Jewish music stars such as The Klezmatics, Andy Statman, Frank London, Zalmen Mlotek, Alicia Svigals, Michael Alpert, Greg Wall, Adrienne Cooper, Joanne Borts, Neshama Carlebach, The National Yiddish Theater Folksbiene all call upon Brian for his unique expertise in this musical style.
Additionally, Brian teaches workshops, master classes, music theory, ear training, Jazz history and improvisation, student ensembles, band festival adjudication and private Jazz and Classical bass lessons at High School and University programs including; Rutgers University Summer Arts Institute, New Jersey Teen Arts Festival, Pace University, Westminster Choir College, Rider University, Hunter College, Ursinus College, Rockland County Day School, and public schools throughout New York and New Jersey. As well as various University and High School and College programs in Fiji, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, The Philippines, Jordan, Bahrain, The UAE, Egypt, and Djibouti, Africa, Russia, Belarus during his tenure as Musical Ambassador for The U.S. State Dept.
