After graduating from college, Marilyn worked as a writer at Earthwatch. She then worked at M.I.T. in the Center for Cancer Research. She had a brief respite for nine months in Paris, France as “une jeune fille au pair” and French student at Censier Daubiton. She also taught English as a Second Language. After Paris, she returned to M.I.T. to work in the Geotechnical Section of the Department of Civil Engineering and took courses at M.I.T. as a “special student." She is class of 1984 (well, maybe someday…). After a promotion, she moved to the Department of Food and Nutrition in the position of Assistant to the Administrative Officer. Finally, she came to Princeton and worked as Assistant to the Chair in the Department of Chemistry before joining the Department of Music as Department Manager.
