This program, titled “Imitatio,” features rare programmatic pieces from the Baroque era, including Johann Sebastian Bach’s only known programmatic piece, the Capriccio on the Departure of a Beloved Brother. Come and hear how music can represent drums, horns, tears, drunken singers, and even cats and roosters!
