Jazz guitarist and vocalist Stella Sokolowski '21 presents a senior recital as part of the Certificate in Jazz Studies and Certificate in Music Performance

Free and open to all. No tickets required. 

About the Artist:

Stella Sokolowski is guitarist from Charlottesville, Virginia. She will graduate this spring with a degree in Philosophy and certificate for performance on jazz guitar. She has been playing guitar for 14 years and has experience in a variety of genres and styles. She’s also a cellist, writer and singer. At Princeton, she has worked under the instruction of Rudresh Manhanthappa, Nate Radley and Matthew Parrish. She received guidance from visiting artists Nneena Freelon, Dave Liebman and Kris Davis. Going forward, she seeks new and innovative approaches to songwriting that combine her cosmopolitan musical interests.
