Brittany Roberts is a musicologist, pianist, and vocalist from the Midwest. She graduated summa cum laude from Southwest Baptist University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (vocal) and the Performer’s Certificate in piano. She went on to complete her Master of Music in Musicology with a Graduate Certificate in Medieval and Early Modern Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2023. Her master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. Alison DeSimone was titled “Ludwig Senfl’s Psalm Motets and Their Influence, Use, and Musical Value in Politics and Religious Reformation.” In between singing in various vocal ensembles at Princeton, studying organ, and diving headlong into all things early music, Brittany enjoys mountain biking with her husband Noel, gardening, and going on hikes with her German Shepherd, Shasta.
