A native of the Washington, DC area, Kyle found his way backstage after determining his pursuit of an acting career would go nowhere as he had no talent. After graduating from William and Mary, Kyle worked at box offices in Washington and Boston. A friend asked him to stage manage for her small theater company in Boston, and taking to it as planes take to the air, found his niche. He graduated with an MFA in stage management from the University of California San Diego and stage managed in various places across the country and even in Singapore. His production management career began as an event manager at the University of Maryland's Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, and since then has production managed music events large and small, operas, theater, dance, and every combination of all of them. Most recently the production manager at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company in Baltimore, Kyle and his family now live in Flemington and can see stars in the night sky for the first time in years.
