I received my undergraduate degree from Ithaca College, where I completed a B.M. with a double major in Performance (double bass) and Sound Recording Technology. I then completed an M.A. in Music, Science, and Technology at Stanford University, where I worked in the Neuromusic Lab at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). There, I helped to develop and pilot an ongoing EEG study investigating performance monitoring and empathy in piano duet partners.
At Princeton, I am an active member of the Music Cognition Lab, where I am involved with several projects investigating narrativity in music. I also enjoy playing double bass with the Princeton University Orchestra and for informal jam/sight-reading sessions with friends.
