Gregory Deane Smith Academic Administrator

Gregory Deane Smith is an accomplished professional baritone and choral conductor. Greg was born in Brooklyn, NY and has lived in Princeton, NJ for over 30 years.  A graduate of Syracuse University and Westminster Choir College, he has worked full-time at Princeton University in a number of positions, and is currently the Academic Programs Administrator at the University’s Woolworth Center of Musical Studies.  Greg’s past volunteer work includes having served several years as a reader and monitor for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, Princeton branch and at WPRB 103.3FM, the radio station of Princeton University, where he hosted the weekly Saturday morning classical program from 2006 to 2010.  Greg has performed with a wide variety of church and community choral ensembles as a soloist, chorister, and director in the New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia metropolitan areas.  He can sing in many vocal styles and genres, including, Early Music, Baroque, Opera, A cappella, Romantic, and Contemporary.  He is a member of the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Anglican Musicians.
