Jacqueline joined the Music Department as its first Director of Administration and Operations in Summer 2021. Working closely with the Chair, Jacqueline assists the Music Department faculty in realizing their academic and artistic visions, facilitates communication with students and alumni, provides mentorship and professional development for staff, oversees spending and budgets, and creates and maintains a consistent, compelling, and evolving public image for the Department.
During her twelve-year tenure at The Juilliard School, in roles including Administrative Director in the vocal arts department and Vice President and Chief of Staff in the president’s officete, Jacqueline supervised several key areas of the school’s initiatives that will directly translate to the Department of Music’s current platform. This included reinvigorating Juilliard’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging efforts, and spurring new programs and initiatives that emphasize creativity and interdisciplinary work.
Before coming to Juilliard, Jacqueline was one of ten professional administrators selected to participate in a yearlong arts administration fellowship program at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Prior to the fellowship, Jacqueline worked at her alma mater, the University of Notre Dame, as Director of Guest Services and University Outreach for the Marie P. DeBartolo Center for the Performing Arts. She holds a B.A. in music and American studies, as well as a M.M. in piano performance from the University of Notre Dame.
