In advance of Princeton University Concerts’ “Healing with Music” event exploring the intersection of Music, Dance, & Parkinson’s disease, learn more about music’s place in the human brain by exploring acclaimed neurologist Oliver Sacks‘ book Musicophilia: Tales of Music and the Brain through this book club presented in partnership with the Princeton Public Library.

Through a collection of short stories, neurologist Oliver Sacks explores the place music occupies in the brain and how it affects the human condition. This book club will culminate in discussions led by Dr. Concheta Tomaino, Sacks’ fellow co-founder of the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function, to whom the book is dedicated.

10:30AM: in-person at the Princeton Public Library

7:00PM: online on Zoom
