The Princeton Laptop Orchestra (PLOrk), in collaboration with the 3D Audio and Applied Acoustics Lab (3D3A) present a unique spatial audio experience. Audiences will be immersed in a 3D audio system designed by Yue Qiao as part of his doctoral dissertation at Princeton. This system will place sound throughout the Lewis Arts Complex Forum space as an installation that occurs Sept 26th, 27th, 29th, and 30th, from 11am to 4pm. Music for the installation has been created by Claire Hu, Devin Greenwood, Yue Qiao, Moad Musbahi, Liam Elliot, and Tanay Mannikar. Additionally, PLOrk will perform a piece written for the system on September 27th at 5:30pm. Visitors are invited to move around and explore the sound environment! Free and open to the public.
