Sarah Pelletier Performance Faculty: Voice (Soprano)

Sarah Pelletier has an international performing career that encompasses the opera, solo orchestral, oratorio, chamber music, and artsong repertory. She is acclaimed for her “virtues of voice, intelligence and musicianship… with purity of tone and expression” (Boston Globe).

Studied with Laura Brooks Rice, Dodie Protero, Penelope Bitzas, Lindsey Christiansen and Hazel O’Donnell.



Solo Engagements with Spoleto USA, Bard Music, Brevard, Aldeburgh, Ravinia and Tanglewood Festivals. Opera roles with Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto, Japan; Maggio Musicale Florence, Italy; Aldeburgh Festival, UK; Opera North, Opera Theater of Philadelphia, and Boston Modern Opera Project. Her operatic roles have included Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Mimi in La Bohème, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Ginevra in Ariodante. Solo concert engagements with New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Garden State Philharmonic, New England Symphonic Ensemble at Carnegie Hall, Masterwork Chorus and Orchestra of New Jersey, Boston Ballet, Emmanuel Music, San Francisco Bach Choir, and Santa Fe New Music. Solo recitals at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Goethe Institute in Boston. Performances have included Bach’s B minor Mass, Brahm’s Requiem, Haydn’s The Creation, Mozart’s Requiem and C minor Mass, and Handel’s Alexander’s Feast. ​​​​​​
