Emily Liushen, from Louisville, KY, has dedicated her studies to both the composition and performance of music. For her senior thesis for the Music Department, she wrote a clarinet quintet—applying her expertise as a clarinetist pursuing a Certificate in Music Performance and being actively involved with the Princeton University Orchestra, Camerata, and Opus Chamber Music ensembles on campus. In her spare time, Emily has enjoyed barista-ing at The Coffee Club, the University’s student-run specialty coffee shop.
