Johanna Linna, from Glendale, CA, took inspiration from Princeton University Concerts’ Live Music Meditation series for her senior thesis in the Neuroscience Department, using pupillometry to investigate the effect of meditation on musical listening. A violist in the Princeton University Orchestra and Opus Chamber Music Ensemble, her favorite musical memory from her time at Princeton was going on tour with the orchestra to Spain. If you are looking for a cool place on campus to hang out, Johanna recommends sitting under the reflecting pool of the Lewis Arts Complex and enjoying the patterns of the sunlight as it goes through the water.
