Timothy “Tim” Martin Amarell, from Simsbury, CT, combined his passions for music and public policy in his senior thesis about Labor, Policy, and the Music Industry: Solutions for Covid-19 Era Music-Makers for his concentration in the School of Public and International Affairs. A member of the Glee Club, Chamber Choir, Princeton Nassoons, and Princeton University Rock Ensemble, his favorite music-related moment at Princeton was completing the thrilling concert for Poulenc’s Figure Humaine with the Chamber Choir this year. Tim is determined to make music a permanent fixture in his life—spending his free time singing, performing, writing, and recording music in the future.
“I will miss being a part of such amazing ensembles at Princeton. Being in the company of so many amazing musicians during my time here has enriched my experience greatly. The memories I’ve made with these musicians and friends will last a lifetime.”
